The rebirth of Sweetwater Community Church took place in 2004, when Pastor Bailey came to the church. There were fewer than 15 members at the church at that time. However, with the pastoral leadership of Pastor Bailey, in less than four years the congregation has grown from a small group of devoted members to nearly 400 members and growing. His vision that a church should be so relevant, that it Impacts the Community and Changes the World through Jesus Christ. This vision has been powerful and life transfroming to the members and to all that hear it. In May 2006, Sweetwater Community Church became Gospel Nation Chrisitian Fellowship.
