We Believe:
THE SCRIPTURE - We believe the Bible is the literal inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Word of God is the infallible Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life. See II Timothy 3:16; I Cor 2:13; II Peter 1:21; I Thess 2:13
THE GODHEAD - We believe in one God who eternally exists in three persons namely; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; Our God is a Trinity in unity and coexistent, co-eternal, and coequal; distinguishable but indivisible. See Matt. 28:18; II Cor 13:14; Phil 2:6
THE DEITY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST - We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father , the Savior of men, we believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary, the Sinless One who willingly became sin for all humanity, He willingly shed His Blood for our sins. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heave, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocated. See Romans 4:25; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1, 14-18, I Cor. 15:1-4
THE FALL OF MAN AND HIS REDEMPTION - We believe man was created in the image of God. He was perfect and walked in total fellowship with God until he committed sin which separated him from God as recorded in the book of Genesis. We believe in salvation of fallen man (sinners) by grace, through repentance and faith in the complete Redemptive Work of Christ on the cross - His death, burial & bodily resurrection - by which we obtain remission of sins. The New Birth is necessary to all men & when experienced produces eternal life. See Romans 5:11, 12, 18; He. 9:12-15; Eph 2:8-9; I John 5:12; 2 Cor 7:10
THE CHURCH – We believe in a non-denominational church that encourages fellowship and unity among all believers regardless of denominational affiliation (Eph. 4:4-6).
THE HOLY SPIRIT– we believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as an endowment of power for all believers (Acts 2:4,38-39; 10:44-46; 19:1-6; Ephesians 5:18). This baptism results in a deeper expression of spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22,23), a greater growth in Christ-likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18), a genuine manifestation of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1-11), and a more effective prayer life (Romans 8:26, 27).
SANCTIFICATION - We believe holiness is God’s standard of living for His people. See Heb 12:14; John 13:34; Eph 5:18; II Cor 3:18; 6:14; 7:1
DIVINE HEALING - We believe in divine healing, through Faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in Redemption. See James 5:14-15; I Pet 2:24; Acts 4:30; Rom 8:11; I cor 12:9; Matt. 8:17; Mark 16:18; Isa 53:4-5
MULTI-CULTURAL - We believe that an interracial church is Gods desire and we embraces people of all races and colors (Acts 10:34-35).
GIVING- We believe in a giving church that acknowledges Christ's lordship over all that we have including our money, time, and talents (Prov. 3:9; Matt. 25:14-27).
CHRIST'S RETURN - We are an expectant church that anticipates Christ's return to receive His church and judge the world (Matt. 24:42-44; 1 Thes. 4:16-17).
WATER BAPTISM - We believe in Water baptism by immersion in obedience to our Lord’s command. The formula for Water baptism is Baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. See Matt. 28:10; Rom 6:4; Col 2:12; Acts 8:36-39
We observe the Lord’s Supper a memorial to his death and bodily Resurrection and Imminent return to gather His elect The Lord’s Supper is to be limited to Born Again Believers. See Luke 22:14-20; I Cor 11:23-32
